Anima Ehtiat was born in 1980 in Yazd and began his artistic career in 2003. Anima Ehtiat is an interdisciplinary artist who works in different art majors including performance art, video art, sound art, filming and painting. He is also a writer of almost 10 published books of poems and novels. He has recently been trying to establish his idea of joining “text and performance” named “Navar”. Navar means gypsy. He has always been inspired by their freedom and life style. One thing that connects his works is his poetic way of deep interpreting and talking. He has always looked up into “writing”, “the critical situation of today’s human being”, and “Ancient principles of objects” in his works.
